Blizzard Beach Reopens as Typhoon Lagoon Closes for Season

Typhoon Lagoon closed on February 14 for seasonal refurbishment, and Blizzard Beach reopened the following day on February 15 for spring and summer operations. The annual swap ensures at least one Disney water park is available year-round.

In a significant improvement over recent years, both water parks will operate simultaneously from May 26 through September 8, 2026, giving guests more choices during the peak summer season.

Disney also reinstated a long-missed hotel guest perk: free water park admission on check-in day during the May 26 through September 8 window, as part of the Cool Kids' Summer promotional push.
