Both Disney Water Parks to Operate Simultaneously This Summer

In a significant improvement over recent years, both Disney water parks will operate simultaneously from May 26 through September 8, 2026. This marks the first extended dual-operation period in several years.

Disney also reinstated free water park admission on check-in day for resort hotel guests during this window, a long-missed perk that was eliminated during the pandemic-era cost cutting.

The dual operation gives summer guests more choices and helps distribute crowds, preventing the capacity issues that plagued single-park operation during peak heat. Combined with the Cool Kids' Summer programming, Disney is positioning the summer season as a premier family destination.
