Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin Getting Major Overhaul

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom is closed for a significant upgrade that includes updated ride vehicles, new handheld blasters, and redesigned interactive targets. The refreshed attraction is expected to reopen in spring 2026.

The overhaul addresses long-standing criticisms of the aging attraction, including dim lighting, difficult-to-hit targets, and outdated ride vehicles. The new blasters are expected to feature improved accuracy and feedback systems.
