Hogwarts Express Pauses Service for Maintenance

The Hogwarts Express train connecting Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure paused service from February 9 through February 23, 2026, for routine maintenance. The closure affected both the King's Cross station in Diagon Alley and the Hogsmeade station.

During the downtime, guests with Park-to-Park tickets were required to exit one park and re-enter the other via the main entrances, adding additional walking time to their day. Universal provided complimentary water bottles at the closed station entrances as a goodwill gesture.

The Hogwarts Express remains one of the most popular and unique transportation experiences in any theme park, making the two-week closure notable for Harry Potter fans planning February visits.
