Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Muppets Transformation Underway at Hollywood Studios

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith has officially closed and is being transformed into Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Guests will join The Electric Mayhem on a wild VIP road trip through Hollywood.

The revamped experience will feature a Muppet-themed courtyard area replacing the guitar facade, new onboard audio, and updated show scenes. The high-speed launch coaster's track and ride system will remain largely unchanged.

The reopening is targeted for summer 2026, likely July or August. The Muppets' return to Hollywood Studios comes even as MuppetVision 3D has been permanently closed to make way for the Monstropolis expansion.
