Walt Disney Studios Lot Construction Progress at Hollywood Studios

Aerial photos from January showed significant construction progress on The Walt Disney Studios area at Hollywood Studios, a reimagined zone inspired by the real Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.

The area will include The Magic of Disney Animation, the Once Upon A Studio Theater, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live show, an Off the Page character meet area, and a Drawn to Wonderland playground. Full opening is expected by summer 2026.

The new area will give guests an immersive look at the animation process while celebrating Disney's creative legacy, filling a gap left by the closure of the original Animation Academy years ago.
