About this Event
The Department of Defense Warrior Games return to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in August 2027, the third time the resort has hosted after 2022 and 2024. Nearly 200 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans compete across 12 adaptive sports: archery, cycling, field events, indoor rowing, pickleball, powerlifting, precision air, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby. Five teams represent the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard, Air Force and Space Force, and Special Operations Command. Disney has announced the month only. The August 7 to 14 window reported by trade outlets matches the 8 days of competition listed by the Warrior Games, but no official date range has been published.
