How we forecast

We blend day-of-week baselines calibrated from Orlando park patterns with your park's own observed wait times. As more history accumulates, the forecast shifts from baseline-driven to data-driven.

Season-aware

Forecasts automatically adjust for Christmas/New Year, Easter/spring break, summer peak, major holiday weekends, and event weekends (Halloween, etc.). Cells flagged with ⚠ Peak fall inside one of those busy stretches — hover for the specific reason. It flags the season, not the prediction: where a park's own history says it shrugs that season off, the crowd index stays low and the badge still shows.

Always free

Other sites charge for this. Parks Magic's crowd forecast is free and open. Planning further out? The 6-month crowd calendar & forecast covers the past 30 days and the next six months on one timeline.

Hover any cell for the expected average ride wait, the 80% likely wait range (when available), a seasonal note (if any), and a confidence badge (Early / Medium / High) indicating how much observed data we have for that park on that day of week. Your personal experience at a specific attraction may differ — these are park-wide averages across the attractions we count as real crowd draws while they are operating, which leaves out the lowest-impact ones: park transit, and most spinners, carousels and kiddie rides. Looking beyond next week? See the 6-month crowd calendar & forecast.
