Disney's Lakeshore Lodge

Upcoming Disney Vacation Club resort under construction on the shores of Bay Lake at the former River Country site next to Fort Wilderness, opening July 1, 2027. Disney says it will hold 967 rooms and villas, from studios to multi bedroom villas plus new one and two bedroom Lake Houses, themed to nature's influence on Disney animation. Room categories draw on Encanto (duo studios), Bambi (deluxe studios and one and two bedroom villas), Fantasia (three bedroom grand villas) and Pocahontas (resort studios), while the Lake Houses are themed to Brother Bear. Club level guests get The Artist's Nest concierge lounge, and the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite sleeps up to six. Planned amenities include The Wetlands pool area with a lazy river nodding to River Country. Booking opens October 6, 2026 for Disney Vacation Club members, October 7 for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and October 8 for all guests.
