Saturday, November 14 is now the longest day on Magic Kingdom's November calendar. The park is scheduled to run from 8am to 11pm that day, 15 hours and the only 15-hour day the park has posted for the month so far, after Walt Disney World added hours at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for the week of November 8.

WDWMagic reported the changes on Monday morning, October 26. We checked them against Disney's park schedule data as published by ThemeParks.wiki on Monday afternoon, and every new time below matches.

What changed at Magic Kingdom

  • Sunday, November 8, Monday, November 9 and Friday, November 13: 8am-6pm, up from 9am-6pm.
  • Tuesday, November 10 and Wednesday, November 11: 9am-11pm, up from 9am-10pm.
  • Saturday, November 14: 8am-11pm, up from 9am-10pm.

The three 8am-6pm days are Christmas party days. The schedule data lists a separately ticketed evening event at Magic Kingdom from 7pm to midnight on November 8, 9, 12, 13 and 15, each one a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party date. So day guests get an extra morning hour on those dates, but the 6pm close does not move. Thursday, November 12 is also a party day, and it keeps its 9am opening.

On the 8am days, Early Entry for guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and select other hotels starts at 7:30am, according to the schedule data. On the 9am days it starts at 8:30am.

The late nights line up with the daytime parade

The two days that now run to 11pm, November 10 and 11, are the same Tuesday and Wednesday when Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is scheduled at 2pm during regular park hours, as we reported on October 22. Neither Disney nor WDWMagic has given a reason for the added hours, so treat the overlap as a scheduling fact, not an explanation. But if you were already planning a parade day, it now runs an hour longer at night.

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

  • Animal Kingdom, November 8, 9 and 13: 8am-7pm, up from 8am-6pm.
  • Animal Kingdom, Saturday, November 14: 8am-8pm, up from 8am-6pm.
  • Hollywood Studios, Saturday, November 14: 8:30am-7pm, up from 9am-7pm.

Animal Kingdom's changes are all at the end of the day. Its 8am opening was already on the calendar, so the extra time comes at night, with one or two more hours depending on the date.

Hollywood Studios gets just the one change, a half-hour earlier start on November 14. It still closes at 7pm that day, two hours before its 9pm close on the rest of the week, and the schedule data lists a ticketed event there from 7:30pm to 12:30am. November 14 is a Disney Jollywood Nights date.

The rest of the week

EPCOT did not change. It runs 9am-9pm every day from November 8 through November 14, with Extended Evening Hours for eligible Disney Resort hotel guests from 9pm to 11pm on Monday, November 9. Animal Kingdom also lists Extended Evening Hours from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, November 11.

This is not a one-off. Disney has been stretching hours a week at a time this fall. On October 18, WDWMagic reported added hours at the same three parks for the week of November 1, including an 11pm close at Magic Kingdom on November 7.

Hours can still move before your trip, so check the calendar in the My Disney Experience app the week you go. Would you use an extra morning hour at Magic Kingdom on a party day, or save your energy for an 11pm night on the 14th?
