LEGO Festival Confirmed to Return at Legoland Florida This Summer: What Last Year's Inaugural Run Looked Like and What's Coming Next

Legoland Florida has confirmed the LEGO Festival returns for a second annual run this summer, included with regular admission. The catch: the official festival page hasn't posted 2026 weekend dates yet, so the exact run window is pending an update from Legoland. Here's what we know now, what last year's inaugural edition looked like, and how it stacks with the rest of the spring lineup.

The headlines:

  • Confirmed: LEGO Festival returns summer 2026. Specific 2026 weekend dates are pending an official announcement.

  • Included with regular admission. No upcharge.

  • Five Play Zones expected to return: Creative, Gaming, Dance, Music, and Chill-Out. The full 2026 weekend-by-weekend schedule will land on the festival page once Legoland publishes it.

  • Stacks with the rest of spring. Galacticoaster opened Feb 27 and the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience launches June 11, so an early-summer Legoland trip can hit all three (plus the festival weekends, once those drop).

What the inaugural 2025 edition looked like

The 2026 weekend-by-weekend lineup hasn't been published yet, but the inaugural 2025 run gives a strong baseline of what to expect. Last year's festival included:

  • Creative Zone: Master Builder Alec masterclasses, a Fantastical Cities community build, and Minifigure Head cookie decorating.

  • Gaming Zone: A LEGO Fortnite-themed area with the first-ever Adventure Peely meet-and-greet and a Cuddle Team Leader brick statue (more than 21,000 bricks and 75-plus build hours, per the inaugural-year coverage).

  • Dance Zone: A DJ GoodVibes Dance Party plus community dance moments.

  • Music Zone: A LEGO Battle of the Bands show.

  • Chill-Out Zone: Build LEGO flowers for the flower walls, plus a Hopsy bunny appearance in the LEGO DUPLO show for preschoolers.

How it stacks with the rest of spring and early summer

Legoland is in a particularly busy programming window right now:

  • Galacticoaster has been operating since February 27.

  • LEGO Festival, weekends only, summer 2026 (specific weekend dates pending).

  • FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience launches June 11, with Messi, Ronaldo, and Mbappé minifigs and a liftable LEGO trophy.

  • Watch the festival page. Legoland typically posts the weekend-by-weekend schedule a couple of weeks before the festival starts; check legoland.com/florida or follow Legoland Florida's social channels for the drop.

  • Pair with a hotel night. The Kids Stay and Play Free hotel package (book by May 17, stays through September 3) covers the resort hotels plus two-day multi-park tickets at all four parks (Legoland Theme Park, Legoland Water Park, Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, and SEA LIFE Florida).

Dutch coaster manufacturer Vekoma went public on Thursday with its role in Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's 16 month refurbishment, saying it installed a new track and passenger trains at Magic Kingdom. Disney described the same work in May without naming a manufacturer. Vekoma ties the lowered 38 inch height requirement to the new hardware plus a comprehensive safety review, and closes with an argument for revitalizing old rides instead of replacing them.
