Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida Debuts a Limited-Time "Pig Family Travel Adventure" Event Memorial Day Weekend, Built Around Baby Evie's First Big Trip

Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida is turning summer into a globe-trotting story. The park, part of Legoland Florida Resort, just confirmed dates for a brand-new limited-time event called Pig Family Travel Adventure, built around Peppa's family taking their first holiday as a family of five (the new fifth member, baby Evie, joined the franchise in 2025). It runs select dates from Memorial Day weekend (May 23) through Sunday June 28.

The mechanic is a passport. Kids pick up the passport at Granny Pig's Garden inside the park, collect stamps at five themed activity zones, join a park-wide packing scavenger hunt, take a photo at Miss Rabbit's airplane, meet the Pig family, and complete the run with a special-edition Pop Badge redeemable at Mr. Fox's Shop (while supplies last).

The five zones

  • Australia: a coral-reef sea animal search.
  • China: a foam-block Great Wall build.
  • France: a family portrait creation activity.
  • South Pole: dress the Pig family for icy weather.
  • USA: an American landscapes puzzle.

Each zone gives a passport stamp. Hit all five and unlock the Pop Badge collectible.

  • June: Saturday 6, Sunday 7, Saturday 13, Sunday 14, Saturday 20, Sunday 21, Saturday 27, Sunday 28.

The official quote

From Brian Bacica, Vice President of Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida: "Pig Family Travel Adventure invites families to create unforgettable memories together as they join Peppa and her family on their first holiday as five, exploring the world through play, laughter and shared experiences."

Pricing and the Amazon pop-up

  • Included with general admission and Annual Passes. No event upcharge.
  • General admission tickets start at $34.
  • Amazon-sponsored pop-up: Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21 only. Giveaways, interactive displays, and exclusive offers.
  • Annual Passholder plush giveaway: two windows at Guest Services, Mr. Potato plush Monday May 11 through Friday May 15, then Peppa's Teddy plush Monday May 18 through Friday May 22 (passholders only, while supplies last, separate from the event itself).

Where it fits in the Legoland Florida Resort summer slate

Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida sits across the parking lot from Legoland Florida's main park, which has its own busy 2026 calendar. If you are stacking a multi-day Resort trip, the math now reads:

  • Galacticoaster at Legoland Florida (open since February 27, the resort's first indoor coaster since the 2011 opening).
  • FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience launches June 11 at Legoland Florida (Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe minifigs, liftable LEGO trophy).
  • Pig Family Travel Adventure at Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, May 23 through June 28 (this story).
  • LEGO Festival 2026 confirmed to return summer 2026 at Legoland Florida (specific weekend dates pending).

Quick planner notes

  • Memorial Day weekend kickoff. Three event days in a row at the start (May 23, 24, 25), then weekend-only through June 28.
  • Short park day, typically 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Build the rest of your day around Peppa's compressed hours.
  • The Pop Badge is the carrot. All five stamps unlocks it, while supplies last at Mr. Fox's Shop.
  • If you're a passholder: two plush giveaway windows. Mr. Potato plush May 11 to 15 and Peppa's Teddy plush May 18 to 22, separate from the event but stacking nicely if you're visiting across both windows.
  • The Amazon pop-up is a one-weekend window (June 20-21). Last full event weekend before the run closes.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Battles a Days-Long AC Outage During a Central Florida Heat Wave

A stay at one of Walt Disney World's flagship Deluxe resorts is not supposed to come with a box fan, but that has been the reality for some guests at Disney's Wilderness Lodge this week. The main building's central air conditioning has been down since Thursday, June 18, just as Central Florida sweltered under back-to-back heat advisories with feels-like temperatures topping 105 degrees. By Monday, June 22, Disney had trucked in temporary chillers and portable spot coolers and many guest rooms had cooled back down, though the Grand Lobby and some interior spaces stayed warm, and the central system was not yet fully restored. Disney has not commented publicly.

Universal Files Permits for a 71,500-Square-Foot Building in Epic Universe's Dark Universe

Universal Files Permits for a 71,500-Square-Foot Building in Epic Universe's Dark Universe

Something big is taking shape in the spookiest corner of Epic Universe. A new permit filing points to a building of roughly 71,500 square feet planned for the heart of Darkmoor Village, the classic-monsters town inside the park's Dark Universe world, with Stantec Architecture listed on the paperwork. That footprint is on par with full attractions at Epic Universe, like the Mario Kart ride and the Untrainable Dragon show, so this is no gift shop. Universal will only say that permit filings are routine and that it has no further details to share, which leaves the fun question wide open: a new monster ride, a theater, or something else entirely?
