SeaWorld Named a Third Howl-O-Scream House, The Crawl Space, and Something Is Growing in the Tunnels Under the City

Something is still down there. SeaWorld Orlando will not say what, but that is the premise of the third haunted house it has named for Howl-O-Scream 2026.

The house is called The Crawl Space, and it now sits in the top featured slot on SeaWorld's official Howl-O-Scream attractions page, ahead of the Sony licensed I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch and the suburban open house nightmare Everything Must Stay.

What SeaWorld says is down there

SeaWorld's description sets it underground: "Hidden beneath the city lies a forgotten network of tunnels abandoned after a catastrophic containment failure." Guests get in through a broken fence, and past it, in SeaWorld's words, "the truth wasn't buried" but "was left to grow." The further the corridors go, the closer you get to "something that's become far larger, far hungrier, and far too close to escape."

The description ends on a line that is doing a lot of work: "Some places are sealed for a reason."

What the description never does is name the thing in the tunnels, and nothing else on the attractions page names it either.

Extermination Order flips the bug hunt

The third all new scare zone to get a name comes with a twist. Extermination Order is about an infestation, but the monsters chasing you are the people sent to clean it up.

SeaWorld's setup: "Something is crawling, buzzing and multiplying through the streets of Howl-O-Scream. From skittering insects to swarming horrors, the infestation has taken over ... and it doesn't plan on giving the territory back." An Instagram Reel from SeaWorld spells the twist out, "The bugs aren't the pests anymore. You are." The attractions page lands the same idea as a punchline: "There's just one problem: you're on the list."

Main Street Magic reported the zone on Friday, August 7, citing SeaWorld's official description alongside that social post.

Where the lineup stands now

SeaWorld's stated scope for 2026 is five haunted houses (four of them all new), six scare zones (four all new plus two returning), five all new themed bars, two roaming hordes and four rides operating at night.

Named so far:

• Houses: The Crawl Space, I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch, and Everything Must Stay. The attractions page still shows three unnamed placeholder cards behind them, two marked all new and one marked returning.
• Scare zones: Extermination Order, Nekrosis and Just One More Chapter (all new), plus Trailer Park Tragedy and Woodrot Hollow (returning).
• Bars: The Rewind, with four more listed and undescribed.

Both the house and scare zone sections still carry unnamed cards, so more names are coming. The cards currently outnumber SeaWorld's own stated totals, so the placeholders are not a reliable count of what is left to reveal.

SeaWorld's own attractions page tells you to expect this pace to continue: "Follow us @HowlOScreamOrlando weekly for new announcements!"

Dates and what runs at night

Howl-O-Scream runs select nights from September 11 through October 31, 2026. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m. Howl-O-Scream has its own gate, at the south end of the parking lot.

Four rides operate after dark: Mako, Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice, Ice Breaker and Pipeline: The Surf Coaster.
