Baby Shark Splashes Back Into SeaWorld Orlando July 6 With a Live Show and Character Meet-and-Greets

Parents of small children, brace your ears: Baby Shark is coming back to SeaWorld Orlando. Just after the July 4th holiday, the Baby Shark at SeaWorld event returns on Monday, July 6 and runs through September 7, giving families a summer-long reason to sing that song one more time. Best of all, it is included with park admission.

What is included

The heart of the event is a live stage show at the Seaport Theater, presented daily, where guests sing, dance, and doo doo doo along with the characters. SeaWorld has billed the returning production as Baby Shark and Pinkfong's FIN-Tastic Adventure. Beyond the show, the event brings:

  • Character meet-and-greets and photo opportunities with Baby Shark and Pinkfong.
  • Exclusive Baby Shark themed snacks, drinks, and souvenirs available around the park for a limited time.

A returning summer favorite

If this feels familiar, that is because it is a return, not a debut. SeaWorld first threw a Baby Shark party in 2025 to mark the tune's 10 year milestone through its partnership with the Pinkfong Company, and it is bringing the event back for summer 2026. This time it comes with a new music video, Happy, Happy SeaWorld, in which Pinkfong and Baby Shark play underwater vets caring for baby animals and helping rehabilitate turtles through SeaWorld Rescue, a nod to the park's real conservation work.

It is not a new roller coaster, but for families with little ones, a daily sing-along and a photo with Baby Shark is exactly the kind of low-stress win a summer park day needs.

Disney Named Monstropolis' Main Street Dark Avenue, and Imagineers Say Piston Peak Buildings Were Shortened After a Balloon Test Came Back Too High

Walt Disney Imagineering put out a new We Call It Imagineering episode on Friday, a 24-minute architecture tour that stops in on four Walt Disney World projects. The headline is a name nobody had heard before: Dark Avenue, the main street running through Monstropolis to the Monsters, Inc. factory that will house the suspended door coaster. The same episode explains what balloons like the one we wrote about on August 12 are for. Imagineers say the first Piston Peak sightline test showed some elevations were a little too high, and structures were shortened before a second test came back right on the money.

Halloween Horror Nights 35 met its first paying guests on Thursday at Premium Scream Night, the preview that starts at $415 a head. Rain arrived around 6:45 p.m., ponchos went out, and the two icons fronting the whole event were not reported in the entrance scare zone until 10:55 p.m. By 11:10 p.m. the open houses were down to five minute waits, but MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals and Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness were listed as delayed. The first public night is tonight.

Vekoma Says It Installed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's New Track and Trains, and Ties the Work to the Lowered 38 Inch Height Requirement

Dutch coaster manufacturer Vekoma went public on Thursday with its role in Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's 16 month refurbishment, saying it installed a new track and passenger trains at Magic Kingdom. Disney described the same work in May without naming a manufacturer. Vekoma ties the lowered 38 inch height requirement to the new hardware plus a comprehensive safety review, and closes with an argument for revitalizing old rides instead of replacing them.
