Villains Land Maleficent Coaster

Disney has not announced a name for this attraction. It is the coaster headlining Villains Land at Magic Kingdom, the land Disney named at D23 on August 15, 2026 and compared in size and scale to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The ride runs through the enchanted briar that ensnarls Maleficent's mountaintop fortress and puts the Mistress of All Evil in the rider's path. Concept art shows trains built as black dragons, with horns, scales, wings and glowing green eyes, carrying riders two across. Walt Disney Imagineering has said the coaster will use elements it has never attempted before on similar attractions, without saying what they are. Disney has not announced an opening date.
