Capa and Ravello Just Turned Up in My Disney Experience, and Disney Is Now Booking Tables at a Hotel It Does Not Own
As of Thursday, a Michelin-recommended steakhouse is sitting quietly in the same booking queue as Cinderella's Royal Table, and it is not inside a Disney hotel.
Capa and Ravello, the steakhouse and the Italian restaurant at Four Seasons Resort Orlando, can now be reserved through the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app. WDWMagic reported the change Thursday morning, noting that "until now, you could only reserve a table through Four Seasons or OpenTable."
Inside Capa. The red cloud sculpture and the open kitchen at right are in the interior dining room. Disney's Capa page calls the restaurant a rooftop steakhouse and advertises fireworks views while you dine, without saying which seats get them, and WDWMagic also puts the view on the rooftop. What actually changed
Only the booking path. The restaurants are not new, the menus are not new, and Four Seasons still runs them. What moved is where the inventory shows up, and that matters more than it sounds: a lot of dining planning happens inside My Disney Experience, and a restaurant that is not in the app is easy to never see.
Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy and His Pals, the character meal Ravello hosts on select mornings, moved over in the same batch. Phone booking has not gone away either: Disney's own listings for all three point to (407) 313-6161, the Four Seasons line.
The asterisks are real
Being in the app does not make these Disney restaurants. Disney's Capa listing is blunt about it: "Disney dining plans do not apply," and the Four Seasons program that lets kids five and younger dine free does not apply either. All three Disney listings also carry a cancellation and modification policy: the card you put down at booking gets charged a per-person fee if you no-show or fail to cancel as the policy requires.
The transportation line is the one to read twice. Disney's Capa page states that "All Guests will have to arrange their own travel arrangement when booking dining reservations at Four Seasons Resort Orlando." WDWMagic gives the reason: the restaurants sit at the Four Seasons, "not a Disney-owned resort," so getting there is on you. There is no Disney bus to this reservation. Valet parking at Capa is complimentary, and your server validates the ticket.
Capa runs 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and is listed at over $60 per adult. Disney describes it as a "Michelin-recommended, rooftop steakhouse" whose menu "boasts wood-grilled meats, seafood and Spanish-influenced tapas." Disney credits the kitchen to Executive Chef Fabrizio Schenardi and Chef Chris Edwards, and lists Capa as AAA Four Diamond rated. Live music plays Wednesdays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Ravello sits a tier down at $35 to $59.99 per adult, with dinner from 5:30 PM. Chef Schenardi is a native of Torino, and Disney's listing describes a kitchen built on "housemade pasta, pizza dough, limoncello and authentic Italian gelato," all "masterfully crafted with ingredients imported from Italy."
Disney's own page cannot agree on which days Goofy shows up
Here is a wrinkle worth knowing before you plan a morning around it. The body copy on Disney's breakfast page says the meal "takes place on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM." The Know Before You Go section on that same page says it is "available on Thursdays and Saturdays only from 7:00 AM through 11:00 AM."
WDWMagic reports Thursday and Saturday. So does Disney's Ravello page, which lists the breakfast as "available Thursday and Saturday mornings." Two of Disney's three statements point the same way, so Thursday and Saturday is the safer assumption, but it is worth confirming when you book.

Disney's breakfast page describes a fixed-price menu with one entree choice, though its Ravello page calls the same meal a breakfast buffet. Digital photo downloads are included at no extra charge. One thing to set expectations on: Disney says that "while autographs and character photos at the table will not be possible, you can get a photo with Goofy when you arrive." So this is a walk-through greeting meal, not a sit-and-sign one.
Why bother noticing
Plenty of restaurants Disney does not operate are already on Disney's dining list, so an outside kitchen on it is not the novelty. The novelty is that, per WDWMagic, they were not bookable this way until now. Folding a Four Seasons steakhouse and a character breakfast into My Disney Experience puts a hotel Disney does not own, though it sits on Walt Disney World property, in front of every guest already scrolling that list, without Disney taking on the restaurant. The practical upshot is simpler: there are three more things to look for on that list now.
