The cheapest dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 are about to disappear. Tickets went on sale this morning for guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Swan and Dolphin, Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green, and the date-by-date pricing reveal that landed alongside the on-sale shows just two nights at the bottom $119 tier and a single $129 night across the entire 38-night run. The general public is locked out until next Tuesday (May 12), which means the bargain dates have a real chance of selling out before that window even opens.

The numbers

  • Price range: $119 to $229 per ticket, plus tax. Prices vary by night.
  • Sub-$130 nights: only three across the entire 38-night run (two at $119, one at $129). The rest cluster heavily in the $189 to $229 range.
  • Total party nights: 38. That breaks out as 9 in August, 13 in September, and 16 in October.
  • Run window: August 7 through October 31, 2026. The August 7 start is the earliest opening date in the party's history.
  • AP and DVC Member discount: $10 off per ticket on event nights between August 7 and October 2. No discount on October nights from the 3rd onward.
  • Resort pre-sale typically restricts you to nights during your stay. Disney has applied that rule in past years, so plan to buy on a date you are checked in.
  • General public on-sale: Tuesday, May 12.
  • Party hours: 7 p.m. to midnight, with ticketed guest entry into Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m.

What's new in 2026

The headliner addition this year is A Masquerade with Stitch, a new Tomorrowland show at Rockettower Plaza Stage. Per AllEars, Stitch hosts the masquerade alongside Lilo and Angel, swapping costumes from Lilo's costume trunk throughout the night so each look kicks off a new theme for the party.

The returning headliners are all back, too:

  • Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage.
  • Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks (the party-exclusive show, not the regular nightly).
  • Boo-To-You Halloween Parade with the Headless Horseman opening rider.
  • Trick-or-treat trails, character cavalcades and meet-and-greets, and the party-exclusive treat lineup.

Read the dates carefully

The cheap nights almost never line up with school-out weekends. Past patterns suggest the $119 and $129 dates are likely to fall on early August Sundays or late October weeknights, both of which are tougher for families with school-age kids. If you can flex your travel calendar, those are the nights to chase. If your travel dates are fixed, expect to pay $189 or more.

Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members get the $10-per-ticket discount on event nights through October 2, then full price after. That cutoff matters because most peak-demand October nights (the closer you get to Halloween itself) sit in the $209 to $229 tier with no AP or DVC discount available.

How to actually buy them

  • Resort hotel guests, Swan and Dolphin guests, Swan Reserve guests, Shades of Green guests: log in to the My Disney Experience app or visit the official events page. In past years the pre-sale has only shown nights inside your reservation window.
  • AP and DVC: tickets show the $10-off per-ticket discount automatically through October 2 dates. Beyond that, the full price applies.
  • Everyone else: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 is your on-sale day. Mark it.
  • Cheap dates strategy: if a sub-$130 night fits your trip, buy now. Resort-guest pre-sales typically eat into the cheapest tickets in the first 24 to 48 hours.

Quick planner notes

  • Buy before May 12 if you can. The cheap nights tend to evaporate before the public on-sale opens.
  • Stitch is the new draw this year. "A Masquerade with Stitch" at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland is the party-exclusive entertainment debut.
  • 4 p.m. early entry is part of the value. A party ticket gets you about 8 hours in Magic Kingdom (4 p.m. to midnight), not just the 5 hours of the party itself.
  • October cutoff for AP and DVC discounts. Check the date carefully if you're trying to stack the AP $10-off perk.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Battles a Days-Long AC Outage During a Central Florida Heat Wave

A stay at one of Walt Disney World's flagship Deluxe resorts is not supposed to come with a box fan, but that has been the reality for some guests at Disney's Wilderness Lodge this week. The main building's central air conditioning has been down since Thursday, June 18, just as Central Florida sweltered under back-to-back heat advisories with feels-like temperatures topping 105 degrees. By Monday, June 22, Disney had trucked in temporary chillers and portable spot coolers and many guest rooms had cooled back down, though the Grand Lobby and some interior spaces stayed warm, and the central system was not yet fully restored. Disney has not commented publicly.
