Legoland Florida Is Selling $40 VIP Seats for Its Monster Skytacular Drone Show, and the Ticket Does Not Include Park Admission

Brick or Treat is one of the good values on Central Florida's Halloween calendar. It is included with regular park admission, no separate hard ticket, no upcharge to get in the gate. That is still true. But there is also a $40 seat inside it, and the seat does not come with a way into the park.

Legoland Florida is selling the VIP Monster Skytacular! Seating Package for the drone show that closes out Brick or Treat's October Saturdays. The park's Brick or Treat page carries the pitch and a live Reserve Your Seats button. We could not find the price behind that button published in any coverage of the event, so here it is.

The numbers: $40.00 per person, $42.80 once Florida's 7 percent tax lands. One to 12 seats per order. The store lists it only as available on select dates in October; Legoland's Brick or Treat page gives those dates as October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.

What $40 buys, and what it does not

Legoland's Brick or Treat page spells out the inclusions: "VIP reserved stadium seating during the Monster Skytacular drone show," an "Exclusive VIP Lanyard and VIP Pop Badge," and "One bottled water (per guest)."

The line worth reading twice sits in the fine print of the store listing rather than on the marketing block: "The VIP Monster Skytacular Seating Package does not include admission to the Park."

So this is a genuine add on, not a ticket. You need park admission or an eligible Annual Pass to be standing in Legoland Florida in the first place, and then the $40 buys you a reserved seat in Pirate Cove Stadium instead of finding your own patch of ground.

The logistics are specific

Check in is early and it is not at the stadium door. Per the listing, "Check-in starts at 7:15 p.m. at the VIP kiosk located outside Pirate Cove Stadium, on the right side of the stadium when facing the entrance, where you will collect your water bottle, VIP lanyard and Pop Badge, and be escorted to your seat."

Monster Skytacular starts at 8 p.m., so that is a 45 minute lead time before the show. Build it into the evening.

Two more terms to know before you buy: the package is "non-transferable and non-refundable," and Legoland's marketing block warns that "VIP Seating is limited," which is the standard line, though Legoland does not state a seat count on its own pages.

Passholders get a discount, and Legoland is not saying how much

The Passholder Hub carries the same VIP Seating block with its own booking button, and the pitch line is: "And that's not all, Passholders can unlock an exclusive discount to enjoy the fang-tastic show in style!"

The discount is applied through a promo code on the booking path rather than shown as a price. The Hub's Reserve Your Seats button carries a passholder promo code, APSky, where the Brick or Treat page's button simply opens the standard package, so the passholder rate is not visible without going through checkout. Do not assume a percentage; the public store only exposes the $40 standard rate.

Three other passholder perks worth a calendar note

While we were in the Passholder Hub, three more Brick or Treat items are sitting there that we have not seen reported elsewhere.

The first is an hour of early access to Brick or Treat Street, the new trick or treating neighborhood. Legoland's wording: "On September 5th, Annual Passholders can enjoy exclusive early access from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and be among the first to experience the all-new Halloween adventure!" A valid Annual Pass is required and no reservation is needed.

The second is a giveaway. A passholder exclusive Brick or Treat Candy Tote is available at the Annual Pass Hub on event days from September 12 through 26, with a valid Annual Pass, while supplies last.

The third is another Pop Badge. Beyond the two free ones any guest can collect, one at Brick or Treat Street and one at DUPLO Valley, Legoland is handing out a passholder exclusive LEGO Wacky Witch Pop Badge, available only at the Annual Pass Hub on event days, limit one per valid Annual Pass, while supplies last.

The context that makes the $40 interesting

When Attractions Magazine wrote up Florida's Brick or Treat dates in July, it described the event this way: "Entertainment, LEGO character encounters, trick-or-treating, and the nighttime Monster Skytacular drone show are all included with regular park admission." That was accurate then and it is accurate now. The drone show itself costs nothing extra.

Sitting alongside it is a paid tier, and it is not a new invention: Legoland offered VIP Seating for this show in the 2025 season too, with the same three inclusions and no published price. Brick or Treat runs 18 event dates this year, and Legoland's Brick or Treat page lists the drone show on five of them. On those five, a $40 seat is there if you want one.
