Sharks Underwater Grill is doing a $60 three-course Magical Dining menu, and SeaWorld is waiving park admission and parking to get you there
There is a way to eat inside SeaWorld Orlando without buying a park ticket or paying to park, and from now through September 30 it comes with three courses and a wall of sharks.
Sharks Underwater Grill is taking part in Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining, presented by Orlando Health. From Friday, August 14 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the restaurant is serving a three-course, prix-fixe dinner for $60 per person. Tax and gratuity are not included.
Magical Dining is not a SeaWorld promotion. It is a city-wide Visit Orlando program, in what Visit Orlando calls its 21st magical year, billed as a six-week run across more than 180 Orlando-area restaurants at two set prices. What is unusual about the SeaWorld entry is the admission and parking arrangement, not the prix-fixe menu itself.
The part that actually matters
Sharks Underwater Grill sits inside the park, which normally means a ticket and a parking fee before you get anywhere near a table. SeaWorld spells out the exception in capital letters on its own page: "MAGICAL DINING DOES NOT REQUIRE PAID PARK ADMISSION. PARKING IS INCLUDED. SHOW YOUR RESERVATION CONFIRMATION TO THE TOLL BOOTH ATTENDANT."
That reads as two separate checkpoints. The toll booth is the parking entrance, where the reservation confirmation stands in for the parking fee, and the park gate is a second stop. SeaWorld does not spell out whether the "ticket" it asks for at park entry is anything more than that same confirmation, though it does call the reservation a ticket elsewhere. Its FAQ on what is included in your Magical Dining ticket says "Parking is included, please show your confirmation ticket to the toll booth attendant." Bring the confirmation to both stops and you are covered.
The mechanics, in SeaWorld’s own words: "Park admission is not required. Please present your ticket upon park entry to be escorted to Sharks Underwater Grill for your reservation by our Host. Following dinner, guests will be allowed to remain in the park until closing*."
Reservations start at 2:30 p.m., and SeaWorld says to select "Magical Dining" from the drop-down menu when you book.
Read the asterisk
That footnote is the one thing worth catching before you pick a date. SeaWorld writes: "Park operating hours are subject to change daily due to Howl-O-Scream. Guests of Magical Dining will not be permitted to stay in the park on Howl-O-Scream nights as it is a separately ticketed event."
Howl-O-Scream runs select nights from September 11 through October 31, so the final 20 days of the Magical Dining window overlap it. On Howl-O-Scream nights dinner is still dinner, but the stay-until-closing part goes away.
What is on the menu
Three courses, one pick from each. SeaWorld lists the full menu on the page:
- Appetizers: Coconut Chicken Tenders, Cold Water Lobster Bisque, House Caesar Salad
- Main course: Filet Mignon with cabernet demi-glaze and Yukon Gold whipped potatoes, Miso Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Seared Garlic & Rosemary Chicken, Sharks Ribeye Steak (a 14oz ribeye with redeye gravy)
- Dessert: Chocolate Cake Confusion, White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, Cannoli Cake
A few booking rules from the FAQ: the dinner cannot be split between two people, other discounts and offers cannot be combined with it, and the largest party the restaurant will honor the menu for is 10, based on availability.
The charity piece
Magical Dining is a fundraiser as well as a promotion. SeaWorld’s page puts the figure plainly: "Through Visit Orlando, $2 from every $60 meal served during Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining benefits the OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability) and other local nonprofits selected."
The money does not change hands at the table. SeaWorld and Visit Orlando run the same line word for word: "At the end of the program, restaurants will donate a portion of each Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining dinner directly to one or more deserving local nonprofits that help people in need and are pre-selected for the program."
About that wall of sharks
SeaWorld’s own description of the restaurant opens with the view, and the park puts the numbers on a "Test Your Shark IQ" graphic. The main aquarium holds 700,000 gallons, roughly 2,650,000 liters, which the park compares to about 70 average swimming pools. It runs 125 feet long, 15 feet deep and 35 to 45 feet wide.
The same graphic takes on the question "Do the sharks eat the fish in the aquarium?" Mostly no, per SeaWorld: sharks have a slow metabolism, and the ones here are fed twice a week, so "it’s rare that they need a snack."
