About this Ride

Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto is the first ride-through attraction based on Encanto at any Disney park, anchoring the new Tropical Americas land, the village of Pueblo Esperanza, which replaces DinoLand U.S.A. Disney confirmed the name at D23 on August 15, 2026 and said the attraction will have no height requirement. Guests are invited into the Casita to celebrate Antonio's gift of talking to animals, and explore his room after it transforms into a rainforest. The 11 acre land draws on the northern reaches of South America, Central America and parts of Mexico, developed after Imagineering research trips to Colombia and Honduras. The land opens in 2027.

Disney Named the Encanto Ride Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto, and Said It Will Have No Height Requirement

Disney confirmed the official name of the Encanto attraction at Animal Kingdom during its D23 parks showcase: Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto. Imagineering also said the ride will carry guests through Casita on vehicles built from the house's own furniture, will feature more than 50 animals, and will have no height requirement. Disney still has not given the ride an opening date.

A Crane Was Still Lifting a Beam Into the Tropical Americas Entrance Arch on Monday Morning, and New Steel Went Up at the Encanto Casita Site

Blog Mickey caught the Pueblo Esperanza entrance frame mid-build at Disney's Animal Kingdom on Monday, with one steel beam still suspended from the crane hook as crews maneuvered it into place. Elsewhere on the site, fresh steel columns now stand on a poured concrete wall near the green Encanto show building, and Blog Mickey believes they are the start of Casa Madrigal itself. Tropical Americas is still slated for 2027.
