Legoland Florida is going big for the 4th. Per the official reveal carried this week by The Main Street Mouse, Main Street Magic, Laughing Place, and Tampa Free Press, the park's annual Red, White & BOOM! celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026 will be the biggest the park has ever staged, with the centerpiece being a 12-minute lakefront fireworks finale over Lake Eloise.

The headlines:

  • Event name (official styling): Red, White & BOOM!
  • Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026.
  • Tie-in: America's 250th birthday.
  • Extended park hours: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Fireworks: 12-minute lakefront finale over Lake Eloise.
  • LEGO-brick viewing glasses: Free holographic glasses that turn each burst into LEGO brick shapes. Distributed starting 7:45 p.m., while supplies last.
  • DJ dance party: Begins 6:00 p.m.
  • Build stations: Collaborative giant American-flag LEGO build station.
  • VIP Fireworks Seating Package: $30 plus tax per guest, in addition to admission. Capped at 120 guests in the South Ski Stadium. Includes reserved seating, dedicated check-in and escort, a VIP lanyard, a commemorative Pop Badge, and a bottled water.
  • Single-day tickets: Starting at $69 for a limited time.

What's actually changing for 2026

The fireworks finale itself is the headline upgrade. Per The Main Street Mouse and Laughing Place, the 2026 show stretches to a 12-minute lakefront display, with Laughing Place promising "more dazzling bursts, breathtaking moments and LEGO inspired fun than ever before" for the America 250 milestone. The LEGO-brick holographic viewing glasses are the second big add, and they're the kind of detail that Legoland tends to do well: simple optical effect, low cost to guests (free while supplies last), high payoff for kids and photos.

The VIP package and ticket pricing

If you want guaranteed seating for the fireworks, the new VIP Fireworks Seating Package is $30 plus tax per guest on top of regular admission. It's capped at 120 guests and includes reserved seats in the South Ski Stadium, the park's lakefront amphitheater on the Lake Eloise side, a dedicated VIP check-in and escort, a VIP lanyard, a commemorative Pop Badge, and a bottled water. For a family that wants to lock in a sightline without staking out turf hours early, the math is straightforward.

Single-day tickets are running as low as $69 for a limited time per the official promotional pricing, with annual passes also valid.

Quick planner notes

  • Extended hours run through 9:00 p.m. The DJ dance party starts at 6:00 p.m., glasses distribution starts at 7:45 p.m., and the fireworks finale closes the night.
  • The South Ski Stadium is the lakefront amphitheater on the Lake Eloise side of the park. VIP package guests get reserved seats there; if you're not in the package, general lakefront viewing is open across the standard sightlines.
  • The 4th of July event runs concurrent with the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience, which is available through July 19. LEGO Festival 2026 with the LEGO F1 Thrill Zone (July 30 to August 16) starts later in the summer, so it does not overlap with Red, White & BOOM!.
  • The VIP Fireworks Seating Package is capped at 120 guests and includes dedicated check-in and escorted seating, so VIP guests do not need to stake out lakefront turf hours early.
