Legoland Florida's LEGO Festival is officially coming back for a second annual run, with dates and an expanded zone lineup. The 2026 event runs Monday July 20 through Sunday August 16, 2026, with two brand-new themed zones (Thrill Zone and Play Zone) joining the three original zones from last year's inaugural run. The whole festival is included with regular park admission.

The Legoland Florida LEGO Festival returns July 20 to August 16, 2026 with five themed zones including new Thrill Zone and Play Zone.

The headlines:

  • Dates: Monday July 20 through Sunday August 16, 2026 (28 days).
  • Five themed zones: Music, Creative, Chill Out (returning from year one), plus brand-new Thrill Zone and Play Zone.
  • Master Model Builder sessions return, including "The Anything Animal" and "Let's Create a Creature" hands-on builds.
  • Included with regular park admission. No separate ticket or upcharge.

What's in each zone

Per Laughing Place's coverage of the announcement:

  • Music Zone: Battle of the Bands live show, sing-along performances, mosaic building, and character meet-and-greets with Melody Raye and Lyric Santos.
  • Creative Zone: Master Model Builder sessions ("The Anything Animal" and "Let's Create a Creature"), plus photo ops with LEGO Panda and LEGO Peacock.
  • Chill Out Zone: LEGO Botanicals "Build & Bloom," butterfly and bug builds, and the "Playtime with Hopsy" stage show.
  • Thrill Zone (new): Details still to be announced.
  • Play Zone (new): Details still to be announced.

What Legoland is saying

Brian Bacica, Vice President of Legoland Florida Resort, framed the second-year return in the announcement: "We're delighted to welcome LEGO Festival back for a second year. It's designed as a vibrant multi-area experience around the park, where children lead the way through play, with dedicated zones, build activities, live moments and plenty of chances to meet many different LEGO characters."

Adding Thrill Zone and Play Zone to the 2026 lineup expands the festival footprint to five zones while preserving the included-with-admission pricing.

How it fits with the rest of Legoland's summer

The LEGO Festival lands in the back half of summer, after the resort's other major 2026 programming wraps or hits its stride:

  • Pig Family Travel Adventure at Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida runs May 23 through June 28 (we covered the announcement on May 7).
  • FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience launches June 11 at Legoland Florida and runs through the summer.
  • Galacticoaster has been operating since February 27 as the resort's first indoor coaster since its 2011 opening.
  • LEGO Festival: July 20 to August 16. The back-of-summer programming slot, leading into the back-to-school window.

Quick planner notes

  • The dates work for the back-to-school window. July 20 to August 16 lands before most Florida public school start dates, making it a clean target for families wanting a final summer trip.
  • Plan around the Master Model Builder sessions early. Hands-on Master Builder activities have historically filled up fast at LEGO events. Get to the Creative Zone early in the day to lock in a session slot.
  • Thrill Zone and Play Zone details haven't dropped yet. Watch the Legoland Florida press page for the full reveal closer to the July 20 launch.
  • Stack with other summer programming. Pig Family Travel Adventure (ends June 28) and FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience (launches June 11) are both active before the LEGO Festival lands, so a June or early-July visit covers different combinations of summer events. Galacticoaster runs through the whole summer.
