Marvel Studios is owned by Disney, but you can buy Avengers: Doomsday merchandise at Universal. Photos published by Attractions Magazine show Doctor Doom shirts, an electronic mask and a Nerf blaster at the Marvel Alterniverse Store in Islands of Adventure on October 21. Demolition Has Reached Mythos, and Part of Its Rockwork Is Coming Off the Back of the Restaurant Facing the Islands of Adventure Lagoon

Crews tearing down The Lost Continent at Universal Islands of Adventure have now reached Mythos Restaurant itself. Video posted October 25 and filmed across the lagoon shows a big piece of the themed rock on the back of the restaurant removed, a yellow turbidity barrier in the water at its base, and the guest path behind Mythos completely walled off. Mythos remains open and is still slated to close in 2027.

Islands of Adventure Ride Lockers Now Open With a Smile, as Face-Scan Rentals Spread From Epic Universe to Four Attractions

Most ride locker banks at Universal Islands of Adventure have switched from ticket scans to photo validation, the face-matching system Universal Orlando first used at Epic Universe. It is live at Hagrid's, Forbidden Journey, Ripsaw Falls and Hulk, but not yet at VelociCoaster. Guests who would rather not can ask a team member about using their ticket instead.

SeaWorld Orlando's Mako Is Closed a Day After a Rider Died on a Similar B&M Coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia

Mako, Orlando's tallest coaster, was still closed Tuesday afternoon. WESH reports SeaWorld told it the ride stays down while engineers and safety experts inspect its restraints and the rest of the ride, a day after a rider was killed on Goliath, another B&M hyper coaster, at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Treasures of Poseidon Has Been Demolished, and the Hulk Coaster Now Shows Over The Lost Continent Wall

The gift shop that outlived Poseidon's Fury is gone too. Treasures of Poseidon, which sat at the attraction's exit, has been torn down in The Lost Continent at Universal Islands of Adventure, within three weeks of construction walls going up around it. Universal still has not said what replaces the land.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong last posted a full day of wait times on Wednesday, August 26. It has been closed ever since, apart from a single 5 minute wait posted on the evening of August 31, and there is no announced reopening date. In the themeparks.wiki live feed the ride's record is frozen at 00:55:51 UTC on September 10, eight milliseconds from Jurassic Park River Adventure, which is in an announced refurbishment and is due back on November 20.
